Abstract

Cultivo mixto que comprende un primer microorganismo y un segundo microorganismo en un medio acuoso, donde el primer microorganismo es un microorganismo acetogénico que puede convertir una fuente de carbono que comprende CO y/o CO₂ en acetato y/o en etanol y el segundo microorganismo es un microorganismo no acetogénico que puede metabolizar el acetato y/o el etanol, donde el primer microorganismo y el segundo microorganismo están presentes en una mezcla homogénea y donde el medio acuoso comprende oxígeno. Método para producir compuestos orgánicos sustituidos y/o compuestos orgánicos no sustituidos a partir de un cultivo mixto como el que se ha descripto.
