Abstract
La presente se refiere a un método para preparar un material cristalino sólido de fórmula LiCl.2Al(OH)₃,nH₂O, donde n oscila entre 0,01 y 10, donde dicho método comprende al menos las siguientes etapas: a) una etapa de mezclado, en un medio acuoso, de al menos una fuente de alúmina y al menos una fuente de litio para obtener una suspensión, b) una etapa de filtrado para la suspensión obtenida en la etapa a) a fin de obtener una pasta, c) una etapa de secado para la pasta obtenida al final de la etapa b), d) una etapa de conformado de dicha pasta secada inmediatamente después de la etapa de secado c) para obtener un material sólido conformado, donde dicha etapa de conformado d) se lleva a cabo en ausencia de un aglutinante, y e) secado del material sólido conformado obtenido, f) una etapa de procesamiento hidrotérmico para obtener el material cristalino sólido conformado de fórmula LiCl.2Al(OH)₃,nH₂O. La presente también se refiere a un material obtenido a través de este método y a un método para extraer litio de soluciones salinas utilizando el material preparado de esta manera.
