Abstract
La presente descripción se refiere en parte a un método para identificar un transformante de línea germinal de soja de una población de transformantes de soja incorporando un agente de selección dentro de un medio de enraizamiento usado en cultivo tisular durante el proceso de transformación de soja. Los transformantes de líneas germinales de soja se seleccionan de una población de transformantes de soja que están compuestos por una combinación de transformantes de líneas no germinales y líneas germinales. Los transformantes de líneas no germinales de soja se identifican y eliminan tempranamente en el proceso de transformación. Los transformantes de la línea germinal de soja se identifican y se seleccionan para cultivo en plantas de soja maduras. El método es fácilmente aplicable para controlar y obtener un transformante de línea germinal de soja en una etapa temprana en el proceso de transformación de soja.
