Abstract
Un método para aumentar la resistencia contra patógenos fúngicos del orden Pucciniales, con preferencia, la familia Phacopsoraceae, en plantas y/o células de plantas. Esto se logra incrementando la expresión de una proteína RLK1 (quinasas de tipo receptoras) o su fragmento en una planta, parte de planta y/o célula de planta en comparación con plantas de tipo silvestre, partes de planta de tipo silvestre y/o células de plantas de tipo silvestre. Por otra parte, plantas transgénicas, partes de plantas, y/o células de plantas que tienen mayor resistencia contra patógenos fúngicos, en particular, patógenos del orden Pucciniales, con preferencia, la familia Phacopsoraceae y a vectores de expresión recombinantes que comprenden una secuencia que es idéntica u homóloga a una secuencia que codifica una proteína RLK1. Producto.
