Abstract

La presente solicitud se refiere a procedimientos para separar las semillas hibridas de una mezcla de semillas hibridas y semillas endogámicas. En particular, dichas semillas hibridas y dichas semillas endogámicas presentan distintos fenotipos, lo que permite la separación de dichas semillas hibridas con procedimientos no invasivos basados en las diferencias en dichos fenotipos. Reivindicación 1: Procedimiento de separación de semillas hibridas de un cereal de una mezcla que comprende dichas semillas hibridas y semillas endogámicas de dicho cereal, que comprende: (a) proporcionar una mezcla de semillas de un cereal obtenido mediante la plantación intercalada de una combinación de plantas que comprenden un progenitor de semilla con esterilidad macho o con esterilidad macho condicional y un progenitor de polen con fertilidad macho, produciendo dichos progenitor de semilla y progenitor de polen al menos dos tipos de semillas, de los cuales al menos uno son dichas semillas hibridas, teniendo dichos al menos dos tipos de semillas fenotipos diferentes, lo cual permite la separación de dicha semilla híbrida con procedimientos no invasivos basados en las diferencias entre dichos fenotipos, estando determinados dichos fenotipos diferentes por un alelo o una combinación de alelos en uno o más loci genéticos, siendo dicho progenitor de semilla homocigótico para un primer alelo o una primera combinación de alelos en dichos uno o más loci genéticos, lo cual da como resultado un primer fenotipo y siendo dicho progenitor de polen homocigótico para un segundo alelo o una segunda combinación de alelos en dichos uno o mas loci genéticos, lo cual da como resultado un segundo fenotipo; (b) separar dichas semillas hibridas utilizando un procedimiento de separación basado en las diferencias entre dichos fenotipos.
