Abstract

Un proceso para la concentración de una suspensión de partículas sólidas en un medio acuoso que comprende la introducción en la suspensión de al menos un floculante polimérico orgánico y la adición de un sistema de agentes, en el que las partículas sólidas en la suspensión se floculan por medio de la acción del al menos un floculante polimérico orgánico y las partículas sólidas floculadas de ese modo formadas se sedimentan para formar una capa sedimentada de sólidos suspendidos en el medio acuoso, donde el sistema de agentes comprende: i) al menos un agente oxidante; ii) al menos un agente de control.
