Abstract

Un acero que posee una composición química, expresada en porcentajes de masa, que consiste de: C: 0.15 - 0.65%, Si: 0.05 - 0.5%, Mn: 0.1 - 1.5%, Cr: 0.2 - 1.5%, Mo: 0.1 - 2.5%, Ti: 0.005 - 0.50%, Al: 0.001 - 0.50%, y opcionalmente por lo menos un elemento seleccionado a partir de Nb: £ 0.4%, V: £ 0.5%, y B: £ 0.01%, Ca: £ 0.005%, Mg: £ 0.005%, y REM: £ 0.005%, y balanceado con Fe e impurezas, en donde Ni, P, S, N y O entre las impurezas consisten de Ni: £ 0.1%, P: £ 0.04%, S: £ 0.01%, N: £ 0.01%, y O: £ 0.01%, y que ha sido trabajado en caliente para llevarlo a una forma deseada es secuencialmente sometido a un paso de calentamiento del acero hasta una temperatura que excede el punto de transformación Ac₁ y menor que el punto de transformación Ac₃ y enfriado del acero, un paso de recalentamiento del acero hasta una temperatura no inferior al punto de transformación Ac₃ y templado del acero por enfriamiento rápido, y un paso de revenido del acero a una temperatura no mayor al punto de transformación Ac₁.
