Abstract

Procesos para la oxidación del Sn²⁺ disuelto en una solución acuosa a compuestos estánicos utilizando como oxidantes NO₂⁻ y opcionalmente O₂, caracterizado porque la solución acuosa se mantiene a un pH en el rango de 0 a 7, caracterizado porque una sal de Sn²⁺(Xⁿ⁻)₂/ₙ y los oxidantes se utilizan de acuerdo con el esquema de reacción a Sn²⁺(Xⁿ⁻)₂/ₙ + b O₂ + c NO₂⁻ ® compuestos estánicos en dicho esquema a, b y c son los números de moles; con la condición de que cuando b sea esencialmente cero, entonces la solución acuosa está esencialmente libre de Cl⁻, HSO₄⁻ y SO₄²⁻.
