Abstract
La presente se refiere a una torre de apagado en húmedo para el apagado de coque caliente con una cámara de apagado (2), una boquilla de riego para apagado (3) ubicada por encima de la cámara de apagado (1), para esparcir agua de apagado, una chimenea (4) colocada sobre la cámara de apagado (2) y al menos un dispositivo de precipitación (6), horizontal o dispuesto en un ángulo oblicuo con respecto a la vertical y que pueda ser atravesado verticalmente, el cual presenta una gran cantidad de láminas (7) en su caso con una sección transversal sin bifurcaciones, estando formados dos caminos de flujo (8) entre dos láminas (7) adyacentes. De acuerdo con la presente, los caminos de flujo (8) formados entre dos láminas (7) correspondientes cambian varias veces su dirección y presentan una forma de serpentina. Es también objeto de la presente un procedimiento para el apagado de coque con la torre de apagado en húmedo descrita.
