Abstract
Reivindicación 3: Procedimiento para reducir el volumen recogido durante la extracción de componentes sanguíneos, que comprende: (a) cebar y alinear el equipo de procesamiento de la sangre con una solución anticoagulante, que comprende: (i) bombear sincrónicamente mediante (2), (11) el anticoagulante de (1) hasta que el mismo es detectado por un sensor de aire/líquido (8) en un tubo de extracción/retorno (7); y (I) confirmar el funcionamiento de las bombas y la geometría de los tubos comparando el número de revoluciones de las bombas necesario para hacer avanzar la solución anticoagulante entre los sensores de aire/líquido (3), (8) según las previsiones preestablecidas a partir de la comprensión del desplazamiento de las bombas y la longitud de los tubos; y (II) confirmar el funcionamiento correcto de las bombas (2), (11) y de la tapa (6) del dispositivo de acceso venoso (5) fijando una bomba y moviendo la otra, a la vez que se compara el cambio de presión que se observa en un sensor de presión (9) con el cambio esperado teniendo en cuenta el volumen de líquido con respecto a aire previsto en los tubos; y (III) comunicar cualquier discrepancia al operador para que pueda adoptar las medidas oportunas, y (ii) bombear sincrónicamente en sentido inverso mediante (2), (11) el anticoagulante hasta que el límite de la interfase aire/anticoagulante está presente en el punto de alineación de anticoagulante de cebado (100); (b) proceder a la extracción y separación de los componentes sanguíneos, que comprende la conexión de un dispositivo de acceso venoso (5) a un donante, estando conectado dicho dispositivo de acceso venoso mediante líquido a un dispositivo de separación de la sangre a través del tubo de extracción/retorno (7); (c) extraer sangre entera del donante, de tal modo que la sangre entera extraída se recoge en el dispositivo de separación de componentes sanguíneos para su procesamiento; (d) separar la sangre entera extraída en un primer y un segundo componentes sanguíneos mediante el dispositivo de separación de componentes sanguíneos; (e) extraer, como mínimo, un componente sanguíneo del dispositivo de separación de componentes sanguíneos; (f) retornar al donante otros componentes, tales como eritrocitos, leucocitos o plaquetas, a través de un tubo de extracción/retorno.
