Abstract
La sacarificación y fermentación pueden efectuarse como un proceso de sacarificación y fermentación simultáneas (SSF).Reivindicación 1: Un método para el procesamiento de almidón, que comprende la sacarificación de un sustrato de almidón hasta azúcares fermentables a pH de 5,0 a 8,0, en presencia de una glucoamilasa, donde la glucoamilasa posee por lo menos 50% de actividad a pH 6,0 o superior, en relación con su máxima actividad, donde la glucoamilasa se selecciona del grupo que consiste en glucoamilasa de Humícola grisea (HgGA), que comprende SEC. ID. Nº 3; glucoamilasa de Trichoderma reesei (TrGA), que comprende SEC. ID. Nº 6; glucoamilasa del género Rhizopus (RhGA), que comprende SEC. ID. Nº 9; y una de sus variantes; y donde la variante tiene por lo menos 99% de identidad de secuencia con respecto a una glucoamilasa progenitora.
