Abstract
En un dispositivo de comunicaciones (100), una unidad de agrupamiento (152) utiliza informacion del estado del canal cuando mapea bits de datos en una pluralidad de distintos grupos de constelaciones. Cada uno de los grupos de constelaciones es asignado a otro esquema de modulacion. Una pluralidad de subportadoras es asignada a ninguno o a uno de los grupos de constelaciones y cada modulacion utiliza otro de los grupos de constelaciones. El dispositivo de comunicaciones (100) puede incluir una pluralidad de unidades entrelazadoras graduables (156), en la cual cada una de las unidades entrelazadoras (156) es asignada a uno de los grupos de constelaciones y entrelaza la asignacion de bits de datos mapeados en cada uno de los grupos de constelaciones y las subportadoras que portan una informacion de símbolos proveniente de los bits de datos. Por ejemplo, la unidad entrelazadora (156) lleva a cabo el entrelazado de frecuencia mediante el entrelazado, a nivel de constelaciones, de las subportadoras que portan la informacion de símbolos.
