Abstract

Un envase fortalecido con calor que posee una porcion de resalto y una porcion de pared lateral que se extiende de la porcion de resalto a una base. La base cierra un extremo del envase. La porcion de resalto, la pared lateral, y la base cooperan para definir una cámara de recepcion dentro del envase donde puede colocarse el producto. La porcion de pared lateral define el diámetro mayor del envase. La porcion de pared lateral incluye una region de absorcion de vacío superior unida a una region de absorcion de vacío inferior en una seccion de cintura reducida. La seccion de cintura reducida forma un diámetro menor del envase que es menor que el diámetro mayor del envase. En algunas realizaciones, esta configuracion forma un envase fortalecido con calor en forma de reloj de arena, en el cual la region de absorcion de vacío superior y la region de absorcion de vacío inferior son colectivamente moldeadas para proveer la absorcion flexible de un vacío interno dentro de la cámara de recepcion.
