Abstract

Un método y aparato para secuestrar dioxido de carbono de un gas de desecho y para poder reutilizarlo en forma de un gas reciclado sin tener que preocuparse por las emisiones, que incluyen: dado un suministro o fuente de gas dividido en un gas de proceso y un gas de desecho: mezclar el gas de proceso con un hidrocarburo e introducir un gas de alimentacion resultante en un reformador a efectos de reformar el gas de alimentacion y de formar un gas reductor; e introducir por lo menos una porcion del gas de desecho en un depurador de dioxido de carbono a efectos de remover por lo menos parte del dioxido de carbono del gas de desecho y de formar un gas pobre en dioxido de carbono que se mezcla con el gas reductor. Opcionalmente, el método también incluye introducir por lo menos una porcion del gas de desecho en el depurador de dioxido de carbono a efectos de remover por lo menos parte del dioxido de carbono del gas de desecho y de formar un gas combustible después de la adicion de un hidrocarburo que se introduce en el reformador.
