Abstract

Se presentan un procedimiento y un dispositivo para la produccion de hierro bruto o productos preelaborados de acero líquidos, en donde sustancias de uso que contienen mineral de hierro y eventualmente sustancias de adicion son reducidas por lo menos parcialmente en una zona de reduccion (1) por medio de un gas de reduccion, a continuacion son introducidas en una zona de fusion (2) y, son fundidas con adicion de portadores de carbono, especialmente coque y/o carbon, y gas que contiene oxígeno y con formacion del gas de reduccion, El gas de reduccion así formado es alimentado a la zona de reduccion (1) y allí es transformado y eventualmente retirado, después de una purificacion, como gas de exportacion. Una parte del gas de exportacion es sometido a una conversion de CO en un reactor de transformacion (5), con adicion de vapor de agua y/o agua, en donde se ajusta una relacion cuantitativa definida entre H2 y CO, se separa por lo menos parcialmente CO2 y una parte del mismo se introduce como gas de reduccion modificado en la zona de reduccion (1) y/o en la zona de fusion (2).
