Abstract

Un procedimiento y una instalacion para la fabricacion de hierro bruto o productos básicos de acero líquidos, en donde materiales de uso que contienen metales y eventualmente materiales de adicion son reducidos por lo menos parcialmente en una zona de reduccion por medio de un gas de reduccion, a continuacion son introducidos en una zona de fusion y son fundidos con alimentacion de portadores de carbono y gas que contiene oxígeno, y con formacion del gas de reduccion. El gas de reduccion formado en la zona de fusion es alimentado a la zona de reduccion y allí es convertido y retirado como gas de exportacion, se separa CO2 del gas de exportacion y se forma un gas de producto, que es aprovechado para la introduccion de portadores de carbono en forma de polvo en la zona de fusion.
