Abstract
La presente se refiere a métodos para determinar la eficacia de un ligando de canal ionico que comprende (a) poner en contacto una célula que expresa el canal ionico con (i) plasma de un animal y (ii) el ligando del canal ionico y (b) determinar el efecto del ligando del canal ionico sobre la célula. Reivindicacion 2: El método de la reivindicacion 1, en el que el canal ionico es un intercambiador de sodio-proton (NHE) o un cotransportador de sodio-bicarbonato. Reivindicacion 5: El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 4, en el que la célula es una línea celular, particularmente una línea celular de un mamífero, particularmente una línea celular de un ser humano o de un raton, especialmente LAP1 de la línea celular LTK de raton. Reivindicacion 9: El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 8, en el que el efecto es una alteracion del valor intracelular de pH. Reivindicacion 13: El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 12, en el que el método se usa para el cribado de un medicamento para prevenir y/o tratar una enfermedad que implica una disfuncion de un canal ionico.
