Abstract

<p>Se proporcionan métodos para la administración de al menos un agente a uno o más huevos de un animal acuático ovíparo que incluye poner en contacto el o los huevos fertilizados o no fertilizados de dicho animal acuático ovíparo con al menos un agente en presencia de un compuesto que contiene guanidina capaz de aumentar la permeabilidad del corion del (de los) huevo(s). Se proporcionan métodos para el tamizaje de fármacos y ensayos de toxicidad de compuestos. Se proporcionan además métodos para la producción de peces y animales acuáticos estériles reproductivamente para la acuicultura, el comercio de acuarios, y el control de especies invasoras. Los métodos incluyen la disrupción del desarrollo gonadal mediante la administración de agentes que conducen al fallo del desarrollo de gónadas fértiles. Los agentes pueden administrarse directamente a los huevos antes de la fertilización o después de la fertilización al poner en contacto los huevos en un medio de inmersión que incluye el agente de interés.</p>
