Abstract
Una composicion que comprende micropartículas poliméricas expandibles que comprende una red polimérica interpenetrante (IPN). La IPN restringe la micropartícula a un tamano de partícula promedio en base al volumen no expandido con un diámetro de entre aproximadamente 0,05 y aproximadamente 5,000micrones. Los reticulados lábiles en los polímeros de la IPN están sujetos a degradacion, lo que resulta en la liberacion de la micropartícula expandible y la expansion de la micropartícula. Uso de la composicion para modificar la permeabilidad de las formaciones subterráneas y para aumentar la movilizacion y/o índice de recuperacion de fluidos de hidrocarburos presentes en las formaciones.
