Abstract
Una composicion que comprende micropartículas poliméricas expandibles que comprenden polímeros hidrofobicos que tienen un esqueleto principal con grupos laterales lábiles. Las micropartículas tienen un diámetro de partícula promedio en base al volumen no expandido de ente aproximadamente 0,05 y aproximadamente 5.000 micrones. Los grupos laterales lábiles del esqueleto principal se someten a hidrolisis bajo un cambio de condiciones ambientales que produce la expansion de la micropartícula. Uso de la composicion para modificar la permeabilidad de formaciones subterráneas y aumentar la velocidad de movilizacion y/o recuperacion de fluidos de hidrocarburos presentes en las formaciones.
