Abstract
Se describen un horno, un patron de combustion y un método de operacion de un calentador que emplea una combinacion de calentadores de hogar y calentadores de pared para el craqueo de hidrocarburos. El patron de combustion conduce a mejoras en la uniformidad de las temperaturas del metal de la bobina y a perfiles de flujo de calor verticales por la elevacion de la caja de fuego. Los quemadores de hogar operan con un exceso estequiométrico de aire mientras que los quemadores de pared operan con una cantidad de aire inferior a la cantidad estequiométrica Reivindicacion 1: Un método de operacion de un calentador que incluye una zona de calentamiento por radiacion que tiene una porcion inferior del hogar y paredes opuestas adyacentes a dicha porcion inferior del hogar y que ascienden a partir de ella; al menos una bobina tubular de calentamiento ubicada en la zona de calentamiento por radiacion; una seccion de quemadores de hogar que comprende una pluralidad de quemadores de hogar ubicados de modo adyacente al hogar inferior para hacer combustion en la zona de calentamiento por radiacion y una seccion de quemadores de pared que comprende una pluralidad de quemadores de pared ubicados de modo adyacente a las paredes opuestas, comprendiendo dicho método: introducir en la seccion de quemadores de pared una primera mezcla de aire y combustible que tiene una cantidad de aire inferior a la estequiométrica para la combustion del combustible introducido en dicha seccion de quemadores de pared, e introducir en la seccion de quemadores de hogar una segunda mezcla de aire y combustible que tiene una cantidad de aire superior a la cantidad estequiométrica para la combustion del combustible introducido en dicha seccion de quemadores de hogar, la cantidad total de aire introducida en la seccion de quemadores de hogar y en la seccion de quemadores de pared es al menos una cantidad estequiométrica. Reivindicacion 21: Un calentador que comprende: a. una zona de calentamiento por radiacion que tiene una porcion inferior del hogar y paredes opuestas que ascienden a partir de dicha porcion inferior del hogar; b. al menos una bobina tubular de calentamiento ubicada en la zona de calentamiento por radiacion; c. una seccion de quemadores de hogar que comprende una pluralidad de calentadores de hogar ubicados de modo adyacente a la porcion inferior del hogar, estando configurada dicha seccion de quemadores de hogar para realizar la combustion con cantidades de aire superiores a la cantidad estequiométrica; y d. una seccion de quemadores de pared que comprende una pluralidad de quemadores de pared ubicados de modo adyacente a las paredes opuestas, estando la seccion de quemadores de pared configurada para realizar la combustion a lo largo de las paredes opuestas de la zona de calentamiento por radiacion con cantidades de aire inferiores a la cantidad estequiométrica. Reivindicacion 30: Un patron de combustion para un calentador de gas que tiene una seccion de quemadores de hogar y una seccion de quemadores de pared comprendiendo el patron de combustion la operacion de la seccion de quemadores de pared con una cantidad de aire para la combustion menor que la cantidad estequiométrica y que la alimentacion de aire adicional a la seccion de quemadores de hogar resulta en un exceso general neto de aire alimentado al calentador.
