Abstract

Un laminador (10) para procesar tubos sin costura comprende una multiplicidad de unidades laminadoras (U) que están dispuestas secuencialmente a lo largo de un eje giratorio (L), cada una de las cuales posee al menos tres rodillos operativos retráctiles (12), que están equipados con una ranura (12a) para alojar el tubo a trabajar; el laminador comprende un mandril adecuado para adaptarlo en la cavidad del tubo durante el proceso; el tubo se trabaja pasándolo secuencialmente, con el mandril (22) equipado en la cavidad el tubo, dentro de las ranuras (12a) de los rodillos (12) de las unidades laminadoras (U) de manera que se reduce el diámetro externo del tubo (T); para que tenga gastos de capital y produccion reducidos, cada rodillo (12) de cada unidad laminadora (U) posee un diámetro nominal fijo.
