Abstract
Un sistema de lentes acomodativas bioptico. La primera lente tiene potencia negativa y está situada en posicion posterior dentro de la bolsa capsular y apoya contra la cápsula posterior. La periferia de la primera lente está ajustada a una estructura anular que presenta una pared lateral. La segunda lente está situada en posicion anterior con respecto a la primera lente dentro de la bolsa capsular y tiene potencia positiva. El borde periférico de la segunda lente contiene una pluralidad de hápticas que están dispuestas en forma de espiral y se proyectan en direccion posterior desde la segunda lente y hacia la primera lente. Las hápticas son relativamente firmes, aunque flexibles de todos modos, y descansan dentro de la pared lateral de la estructura anular, de manera que se logre el aplanamiento o erguimiento de la cápsula en respuesta al movimiento del musculo ciliar y la correspondiente contraccion de la bolsa capsular hace que la segunda lente se desplace a lo largo del eje optico del sistema de lentes.
