Abstract

Un lavador de fluidos en la forma de un reactor de gas sumergido que incluye un recipiente de reaccion, un tubo de suministro de gas dispuesto parcialmente dentro del recipiente de reaccion para suministrar un gas hacia el interior del recipiente de reaccion y una admision para el líquido de lavado que suministra un líquido de lavado al recipiente de reaccion con una tasa suficiente para mantener un nivel constante controlado del fluido dentro del recipiente de reaccion. Durante la operacion, el gas que se introduce a través del tubo se mezcla con el líquido de lavado y el gas y el líquido combinados fluyen con una alta tasa con un alto grado de turbulencia a lo largo de los primero y segundo caminos de circulacion definidos alrededor del vertedero, promoviendo de esa manera una mezcla vigorosa y el contacto íntimo entre el gas y el líquido de lavado. Este flujo turbulento desarrolla un área superficial de la interfaz entre el gas y el líquido de lavado significativamente grande para dar como resultado una reduccion del tiempo de residencia del gas dentro del líquido de lavado que es necesario para conseguir equilibrio térmico y/o para impulsar las reacciones químicas hasta completarse, todo lo cual conlleva a una evaporacion, reaccion química. o proceso combinado de evaporacion y reaccion química, más eficientes y completos.
