Abstract

Procedimiento de preparacion de un gel acuoso a base de metronidazol, que comprende las etapas sucesivas que consisten en: (A) formar un medio solvente M que comprende agua y propilenglicol; (B) disolver el metronidazol en ese medio solvente M y, eventualmente, diluir el medio obtenido por adicion de agua, por lo que se obtiene una solucion S de metronidazol; ( C ) mezclar la solucion S obtenida de esa forma con un polímero gelificante, en una cantidad suficiente para asegurar la gelificacion de la composicion. Geles acuosos de estabilidad elevada que pueden obtenerse de acuerdo con ese procedimiento, así como a la utilizacion de esos geles a título de composiciones dermatologicas.
