Abstract

Se describe un método para preparar un extracto que contiene isoflavonas de germen de haba. El método incluye agregar germen de haba a agua durante un período de tiempo suficiente (esta mezcla puede ser agitada) de modo de separar los materiales solubles e insolubles del germen de haba para obtener una solución que contiene isoflavonas. La mezcla de germen de haba/agua tiene una temperatura entre aproximadamente 30°C y aproximadamente 99°C, y un pH del punto isoeléctrico de las proteínas del germen de haba. Reivindicación 2: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en el cual el germen de poroto se selecciona entre germen de semilla de soja, germen de poroto mung, germen de frijol negro, germen de judía y mezclas de los mismos.
