Abstract

Un aparato para el tratamiento de alimentos para su procedimiento y posterior secado. El aparato comprende una cinta transportadora sinfín que un sector de su extensión sigue una trayectoria helicoidal para formar una pila, tal que dicha trayectoria helicoidal define un espacio central en la pila. La cinta transportadora tiene pasajes para permitir la circulación de un medio gaseoso a través de la pila, tanto en dirección vertical como horizontal. Una porción de la pila está rodeada verticalmente pro un encapsulado. El aparato comprende un primer medio para suministrar un primer medio gaseoso a dicho espacio central, y un segundo medio para suministrar un segundo medio gaseoso al encapsulado. El encapsulado está configurado para dirigir la circulación del segundo medio gaseoso de modo tal que pase verticalmente desde dicho encapsulado al resto de la pila. La presente concierne asimismo a un método para el tratamiento de alimentos para su procesamiento y posterior secado.
