Abstract

Un proceso para preparar Modafinil de fórmula (1), que tiene una granulometría definida, dicho proceso comprende los pasos de: a) preparar una solución de DMSAM en un solvente; b) poner a la solución obtenida en contacto con NH3 a una temperatura predeterminada y bajo una agitación predeterminada; c) aislar el modafinil formado, en donde dichas temperatura y agitación se predeterminan para obtener la granulometría definida. Dicha solución de DMSAM tiene una concentración de entre 1 y 1,25 mol L-1. El modafinil aislado tiene una granulometría de entre 2 y 60 micrones. Modafinil que puede obtenerse mediante dicho proceso.
