Abstract

Se hace circular un primer gas caloportador en contacto con el núcleo (5) del reactor nuclear (1) de alta temperatura, en circuito cerrado, se calienta un segundo gas de intercambio térmico por intercambio de calor por el primer gas de intercambio o gas caloportador y se utiliza el segundo gas de intercambio térmico calentado por el primer gas caloportador en un intercambiador intermedio (7) para impulsar por lo menos una turbina de gas (2) acoplada a un generador eléctrico (4). El primer gas de intercambio está constituido principalmente por helio y el segundo gas de intercambio contiene en volumen sustancialmente de 50% a 70% de helio y de 50% a 30% de nitrógeno. Se pone en circulación el segundo gas de intercambio térmico en circuito cerrado, de manera que el segundo gas de intercambio térmico asegura por lo menos la impulsión de por lo menos una turbina de gas (2). Preferentemente, el dispositivo comprende igualmente un circuito terciario (10) en el cual circula agua y vapor formado por el calentamiento del agua a partir de una fracción del segundo fluido de intercambio y utilizado para impulsar las turbinas de vapor (3S, 3b, 3c) montadas, preferentemente, en el eje del generador eléctrico (4).
