Abstract

Comprende por lo menos una etapa de secado inicial parcial (a) de las pieles completamente mojadas provenientes de un tratamiento con líquidos tal como los empleados en el curtido, recurtido y tenido de dichas pieles hasta llevar su contenido de humedad relativa a un valor comprendido entre el 45% al 65 %; al menos una etapa de estiramiento final (b) de las pieles y cueros por medio de solicitaciones mecánicas localizadas capaces de recuperar la pérdida de área y de suavidad consecuente al pre-secado de dichas pieles y cueros, caracterizado por el hecho que luego de dicha etapa de secado inicial parcial (a) es efectuada por lo menos una etapa de estiramiento intermedia (c), seguida por una etapa intermedia (d) de secado parcial seguida de por lo menos una etapa intermedia de estiramiento (e) antes de pasar a dicha etapa de secado y termo fijado final (c) de las pieles y cueros. También se ampara la instalación para ejecutar dicho método, construidos por túneles de secado y acondicionamiento continuo, con un grado de humedad y ventilación controlada, con dispositivos para estiramiento continuo.
