Abstract

Un criterio para polarizar una decisión binaria que requiere una protección desigual que utiliza una relación medida entre senal e interferencia (SIR). La SIR puede derivar de una determinación de estimación de canal. La SIR se compara con un umbral, umbral que se selecciona para polarizar la decisión hacia una NACK en posición con una determinación ACK. La técnica es ventajosa para proveer decisiones binarias polarizadas para paquetes de enlace descendente de alta velocidad (HSDP) pero puede utilizarse tanto para aplicaciones de enlace ascendente como descendente.
