Abstract

Los datos de un conjunto de bloque de transporte deben ser transmitidos en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica. El sistema de comunicación inalámbrica utiliza modulación y codificación adaptativas y tiene un mecanismo de solicitud de repetición híbrida automática de capa física. Se provee una información de segmentación para una segmentación potencial de el conjunto de bloque de transporte. El conjunto de bloque de transporte es transmitido con un primer esquema de modulación y codificación específico. El conjunto de bloque de transporte es recibido y se determina si el conjunto de bloque de transporte recibido cumple con una calidad específica. Cuando no se cumple con la calidad específica, se transmite una solicitud de repetición. Se cambia el primer conjunto de modulación y codificación específico a un segundo conjunto de modulación y codificación específico. Como respuesta a la solicitud de repetición, se segmenta el conjunto de bloque de transmisión en una pluralidad de segmentos soportados por el segundo conjunto de modulación y codificación específico de acuerdo con la información de segmentación provista. Los segmentos son transmitidos y al menos dos de los segmentos son transmitidos en forma separada. Se reciben los segmentos transmitidos. El proceso de segmentación puede aplicarse más de una vez para una transmisión de TBS en particular.
