Abstract
Se provee un método para transferir datos en una comunicación inalámbrica. Una arquitectura de control de acceso medio (MAC) determina los requerimientos de latencia de transmisión y de tasa de error de bloque para una pluralidad de flujos de datos, donde cada flujo de datos tiene una prioridad asociada y cada flujo de datos comprende una pluralidad de bloques de datos. La arquitectura MAC especifica una entidad de programación que determina el momento en que se provee el servicio de transmisiones, y a través de qué entidad de solicitud automática de repetición híbrida (H-ARQ). Las entidades H-ARQ determinan si cada bloque anterior ha sido transmitido exitosamente ó no, y de no ser así, solicitan la re-transmisión de bloques de datos transmitidos sin éxito. La programación de los bloques de datos toma en cuenta si los bloques de datos transmitidos previamente requieren o no de una retransmisión. La arquitectura MAC permite que la entidad de programación pueda iniciar nuevas transmisiones en cualquier momento y reiniciar transmisiones previamente no exitosas en cualquier momento. También se divulgan un controlador de red de radio, y un nodo B y un equipo de usuario.
