Abstract

Se describen agentes de entrecruzamiento a base de poliisocianatos acuosos y/o diluibles con agua, bloqueados con diisopropilamina, a su preparación y uso en barnices de un componente, por ejemplo como materiales de relleno en el barnizado de la industria automotriz. Los agentes de entrecruzamiento con poliisocianatos bloqueados contienen: a) 100 equivalentes % de un componente poliisocianato; b) de 50 a 85 equivalentes % de diisopropilamina; c) de 15 a 40 equivalentes % de un ácido carboxílico monohidroxilado y/o dihidroxilado como agente hidrofilizante, y, opcionalmente; y d) de 0 a 15 equivalentes % de un componente de extensión de cadena que contenga grupos OH y/o NH2; en el cual la relación entre equivalentes de grupos NCO del componente a) y grupos reactivos con isocianato de los componentes b), c) y d) es de entre 1:0,8 y 1:1,2. Los agentes de entrecruzamiento con poliisocianatos bloqueados con diisopropilamina, acuosos o diluibles en agua, son más estables al almacenamiento y fáciles de obtener, poseen una menor temperatura de entrecruzamiento u horneado que los agentes de entrecruzamiento con poliisocianatos bloqueados con butanona oxima. El proceso para la preparación de los agentes de entrecruzamiento con poliisocianatos bloqueados acuosos/diluibles con agua, comprende hacer reaccionar un componente de poliisocianato en un primer paso de reacción a aproximadamente 80°C con un ácido monohidroxicarboxílico; enfriar la mezcla hasta aproximadamente 50°C; y bloquear los grupos NCO remanentes por agregado de diisopropilamina. La composición acuosa para recubrimiento comprende el agente de entrecruzamiento con poliisocianatos bloqueado acuoso o diluible con agua y un compuesto polihidroxilado hidrosoluble o dispersable en agua. La composición de sustrato recubierto es preparada a partir de la composición acuosa para recubrimiento y un aditivo de la tecnología de recubrimientos. Un sustrato recubierto con la composición de sustrato es una autoparte.
