Abstract

Un compuesto análogo de arilaminopropano representado por la fórmula (1), en la cual: R1, R2 y R3 son independientemente seleccionados entre hidrógeno o un grupo alquilo; R4 es H ó OR1; R5 es OCON(R1,R2), OCOR1 ó OR7; R6 es H, OR7, CONR1R2, CH2OR7, CO2R1R2 ó N(R1R2), con la condición de que R5 y R6 no sean H en ambos casos; arilo representa por lo menos un grupo arilo; A es elegido entre hidrógeno, un grupo alquilo, C(=O)OR7, OR7, CR7, C(=O)NR1R2, SO2(R1R2), halógeno o CF3; y R7 es H, un grupo alquilo sustituido o no sustituido, CONR1R2C1-3, N(R1R2)C1-3, CO2HC1-3 o CO2C1-3-alquilo C1-3; composiciones farmacéuticas y el uso de dichos análogos para la elaboración de un medicamento para reducir y controlar la presión intraocular normal o elevada, así como para el tratamiento del glaucoma utilizando composiciones que contienen uno o más de dichos compuestos.
