Abstract
Se presenta un aparato excitador (10) que tiene una envoltura fundida (11) y una base de montaje (14) fijada a montajes (16) apernados a las planchas laterales (17) del aparato clasificador (20). Un par de ejes (23) están montados para rotación en y se extienden fuera de ambos lados de la envoltura fundida. Una estructura de engranajes (24) está calzada a cada eje (23) para formar un tren de engranajes acoplado a los ejes (23). Los extremos exteriores de cada uno de los ejes (23) están provistos con masas excéntricas (30) alineadas sobre sus respectivos ejes (23), en 180° fuera de fase. Bobinas conductoras (35) son manejadas por motores eléctricos (no mostrados). Bobinas de acople (37) están adaptadas para aceptar acoplamientos flexibles para juntar las unidades excitadoras. Los engranajes (26) comprenden 9 dientes (45) de un módulo de 18 dispuesto en un círculo primitivo de diámetro (PCD) de 325,0mm (46) y en una dimensión axial de 65 mm. Los espacios (50) entre los dientes están a un diámetro conceptual de 262,6mm, teniendo los dientes una altura conceptual correspondiente de 31,2mm al círculo primitivo de diámetro (PCD). El largo cordal del diente de engranaje (51) de 34mm está sobredimensionado para el módulo y la superficie involuta del diente de engranaje se extiende más allá de la cabeza del diente del engranaje para encontrar una punta de diente (52) de radio 6.5 mm. Esta configuración otorga un juego de 9°, el que le permite a la dirección de agitación desplazarse para rastrear el centro de gravedad de la máquina de criba en uso.
