Abstract

Se describen genes y procedimiento para aislar genes que codifican para productos génicos que, en caso de falta, producen un crecimiento muy retardado y/o una detencion total del crecimiento al nivel de los brotes de Arabisopsis thaliana. Se describe la utilizacion de estos genes y los productos génicos codificados para el recubrimiento de nuevos herbicidas. Además, se describe el uso de los genes y productos génicos identificados aquí para la preparacion de plantas resistentes a los herbicidas. Se refiere también a un procedimiento para identificar sustancias con efecto herbicida, sustancias identificadas segun este procedimiento, así como su uso como herbicidas. Se refiere también a las construcciones de ácido nucleico, vectores, organismos que contienen las construcciones de ácido nucleico y/o vectores, especialmente las plantas transgénicas contienen construcciones de ácido nucleico y/o vectores. Por otra parte se refiere a un procedimiento para identificar antagonistas y su uso, anticuerpos y moléculas de ARN antisentido, así como agentes que contienen una sustancias herbicida aislada segun los procedimiento de la invencion. Además, se refiere a las composiciones que contienen el anticuerpo, el ácido nucleico antisentido y/o el antagonista
