Abstract
Se refiere a un método para mejorar las características de crecimiento de plantas al aumentar la expresion de al menos parte de una quinasa tipo receptor repetido rico en leucina (RKS11, RKS4, o un ortologo de estos). Uno de tal método comprende introducir en una planta un ácido nucleico que codifica al menos parte de una quinasa tipo receptor repetido rico en leucina ( RKS11, RKS4 o un ortologo de estos). También se refiere a plantas transgénicas teniendo introducido en las mismas unácido nucleico o variantes del mismo que codifican al menos parte de una quinasa tipo receptor repetido rico en leucina (RKS11, RKS4 o un ortologo de estos), dichas plantas con características de crecimiento mejoradas con respecto a las correspondientes plantas de tipo silvestre. También se refiere a constructos utiles en los métodos de la invencion.
