Abstract

Un método para separar paclitaxel de cefalomanina y otros compuestos relacionados mediante la obtencion de un material de partida que contiene paclitaxel y cefalomanina; la disolucion del material de partida en cualquiera de una cantidad de disolventes particularmente definidos como ser formiato de butilo y acetato de butilo para formar una mezcla; someter a la mezcla a cromatografía en columna para obtener una fraccion eluida de paclitaxel, una fraccion eluida de cefalomanina y un residuo; y el secado en forma separada de las fracciones de paclitaxel y cefalomanina para obtener formas cristalinas separadas de paclitaxel y cefalomanina, respectivamente.
