Abstract
Un proceso para producir un producto hidrocarburo a partir de hidrogeno y monoxido de carbono, comprende: a) proveer un recipiente de reaccion que contiene una suspension de partículas de un catalizador de Fischer Tropf en forma de partículas en un medio líquido que comprende un hidrocarburo, teniendo las partículas del catalizador un tamano en un intervalo tal que no más de aproximadamente el 10 por ciento en peso de las partículas del catalizador tiene un tamano situado en el intervalo superior del tamano de las partículas que se extienden hasta un tamano máximo de las partículas; b) proveer hidrogeno y monoxido de carbono, al recipiente de reaccion; c) mantener en el recipiente de reaccion condiciones de reaccion efectivas para la conversion del hidrogeno y monoxido de carbono en un producto hidrocarburo líquido mediante la reaccion de Fischer Tropf; d) mantener condiciones de mezclado en el recipiente de reaccion suficientes para establecer un patron de circulacion a través del recipiente de reaccion que incluyen una trayectoria de flujo ascendente para la suspension y una trayectoria de flujo descendente para la suspension siendo la velocidad ascendente de la suspension en la trayectoria del flujo ascendente de la suspension, superior en aproximadamente un 75% de la velocidad descendente media de las partículas de catalizador que tienen un tamano situado en el intervalo superior medida en un medio liquido estancado estando el recipiente de reaccion sustancialmente exento de zonas estancadas en las cuales las partículas del catalizador puedan segregarse de la suspension; e) recuperar el recipiente de reaccion, una corriente de gas una corriente de gas de escape que comprende metano como también hidrogeno y monoxido de carbono que han quedado sin reaccionar
