Abstract
Se divulga un proceso para la recuperacion de propano, propileno y componentes hidrocarburicos más pesados a partir de un flujo de gas de hidrocarburo. El flujo se enfría y/o se expande para condensarlo parcialmente, luego se separa para proporcionar un primer flujo de vapor. El primer flujo de vapor se dirige a un dispositivo de contacto en donde se forman vapores y líquidos. Los líquidos se dirigen a una columna de destilacion que opera a una presion menor, en donde un segundo flujo de vapor se separa para recuperar un producto que contiene la mayor parte de los componentes de C3 y componentes de hidrocarburos más pesados. El segundo flujo de vapor se dirige a una relacion de intercambio térmico con los vapores para enfriar el segundo flujo de vapor y condensar al menos parte de éste, formando un flujo condensado. Al menos una porcion del flujo condensado se dirige al dispositivo de contacto para que entre en contacto íntimamente con el primer flujo de vapor; la porcion restante (si la hubiera) del flujo condensado puede suministrarse a la columna de destilacion como alimentacion superior. Las cantidades y temperaturas de las alimentaciones para el dispositivo de contacto y la columna de destilacion son efectivas para mantener las temperaturas del vapor saliente de la parte alta del dispositivo de contacto y la columna de destilacion a temperaturas en las que la mayor parte de los componentes deseados se recupera.
