Una lámpara incandescente halogena para faros de automotores que presenta un consumo de potencia eléctrica de entre 50 Watt y 100 Watt, y que posee por lo menos un filamento incandescente, en la que de acuerdo con el invento al menos el unico filamento incandescente (5) está realizado como arrollamiento simple, cuyas dimensiones y/o geometría están previstos para una tension de trabajo de por lo menos 20 Volt, donde la longitud del arrollamiento simple se halla limitada a un rango desde 4,0 hasta 6,5 mm.
