Abstract

Un procedimiento para la produccion de una olefina que comprende quemar parcialmente, en una zona de reaccion, una mezcla de un hidrocarburo y un gas conteniendo oxígeno en presencia de un catalizador que es capaz de soportar la combustion más allá del límite de inflamabilidad rico en combustible para producir la olefina, en donde la velocidad de alimentacion superficial de dicha mezcla es de por lo menos 250cm s-1 a temperatura y presion operativa normales, con la condicion de que cuando el catalizador es un catalizador no soportado, la velocidad de alimentacion superficial de dicha mezcla es de por lo menos 300 cm s-1 a temperatura y presion operativa normales.
