Abstract
Un medio de medicion de calidad (QMM) provisto en un medio de control de la red (RNC) de un sistema de comunicacion (T1) monitorea la calidad detransmision sobre el enlace descendente (DL) de una conexion de comunicacion (CC) entre la estacion del abonado (MS) y la estacion transceptora (RBS). Un mediode entrega IF genera una senal de disparo de medicion IF de la red (NIFTS) cuando la calidad de transmision desciende por debajo de una medida de calidadpredeterminada (QoS-MS). La senal de disparode medicion (IF) de la red generada (NIFTS) se envía a la estacion del abonado (MS) y un medio de medicion IF(IFMM) en la estacion del abonado (MS) comienza las mediciones IF en respuesta a un recibo de la senal de disparo de medicion IF de la red (NIFTS). Un ejemplode evaluacion de la calidad sobre el enlace descendente de la conexion de comunicacion (CC) es monitorear la potencia de calidad transmitida sobre el enlacedescendente. Así, el medio de control de la red (RNC) puede generar independientemente la senal de disparo sin la necesidad de mediciones desde la estacion delabonado (MS) y sin una interferencia adicional sobre el enlace de subida debido a una transmision de dichas mediciones y sin una reduccion innecesaria de lavida util de la batería de la estacion del abonado (MS).
