Abstract
Genes quiméricos y métodos para el control de la expresion de secuencias de ácido nucleico en plástidos de plantas. Se expresan multiples genes o unidadespolicistronicas utilizando elementos corriente arriba de los genes del plástido que se encuentran naturalmente en orientacion divergente. Estos elementoscorriente arriba se pueden derivar a partir de las secuencias que se encuentran en el genoma del plástido nativo de la misma planta, o de preferencia a partirdel genoma del plástido de una especie de planta diferente que tenga una identidad de secuencia menor del 90%.
