Abstract

Se revela un dispositivo para codificar un flujo de bits de datos de una senal de fuente binaria (S) en un flujo de bits de datos de una senal de canalbinaria (C), en donde el flujo de bits de datos de la senal de fuente está dividida en palabras defuente de n-bit (x1 x2) cuyo dispositivo comprende medios deconversion (CM) concebidos para convertir dichas palabras de fuente de n-bit en correspondientes palabras de canal de m-bit (y1 y2 y3) de acuerdo con unaconversion del tipo de preservaciond e paridad, en donde m y n son enteros. Con m>n. El dispositivo también comprende medios de control para llevar a cabocontrol DC en dicha senal de canal binario intruduciendo una libertad de eleccion en la conversion fuente-a-canal. Además undisposit ivo de descodificacion serevela, para descodificar la senal de canal obtenida por medio del dispositivo de codificacion.
