Abstract

Se describe un proceso para producir, a partir de una corriente de gas presurizado rico en metano, una corriente de líquido presurizado rico en metano conuna temperatura superior a -112sC (-170sF) y una presion suficiente para estar en su punto debu rbujeo o por debajo del mismo. En este proceso, se alimenta unacorriente de líquido rico en metano con una temperatura inferior a aproximadamente -155sC (-247s F) y se aumenta su presion. Se suministra una corriente degas presurizado rico enmetano a licuar y se introduce en la corriente de líquido presurizado rico en metano a una velocidad que produzca una corriente delíquido rico en metano que tiene una temperatura superior a -112sC (-170sF) y una presion suficiente para estar en supunto de burbujeo o por debajo del mismo.
