Abstract
Se proveen varios métodos e instalaciones de produccion a fin de resolver varios problemas que se encuentran en instalaciones y métodos convencionales paraproducir hierro reducido por reduccion de nodulos de material en bruto de una mezcla de un oxido de hierro en polvo y polvo de material reductor en un horno dereduccion del tipo de lecho giratorio y por fusion del hierro reducido en un horno eléctrico con inyeccion de aire a presion de tipo sellado. La reoxidacion delos nodulos reducidos de lamezcla de nodulos es evitada por medio de la introduccion de un horno de reduccion del tipo de lecho giratorio de un gas dereduccion generado en un horno eléctrico con inyeccion de aire a presion. Además, una resistencia mecánica mejorada de los nodulos reducidas después de lareduccion directa es lograda por aplicar accion de rodadura a los nodulos reducidos. Se proveen unos pocos métodos e instalaciones para la utilizacionconfiable de los nodulos de mezcla humedos y se seleccionan unas composiciones preferibles de aglomerantes para formar la mezcla de material en bruto. Sedesarrolla un novedoso dispositivo de carga para cargar los nodulos de material en bruto de manera tal que es capaz de cargar los nodulos sobre el lechogiratorio como una capa uniforme formada acumulando una o mos capas de nodulos.
