Abstract

La geometría de las zonas de compresion proporciona un mecanismo mediante el cual elarrastre del fluido viscoso,el cual e s inducido por la rotacion de los engranajes de bomba lleva el fluido viscoso a través de un hueco progresivamente másestrecho en la direccion de rotacion terminando en un estrangulamiento final moderado en principio de la zona de sello.La geometría de la zona de compresionincrementa al máximo el arrastre y presurizacion del fluído viscoso que es bombeado hacia los dientes de los engranajes ayudando así al completo llenado de losdientes. El resultado es una eficiencia de llenadomejorada sobre una escala más amplia de velocidades de bomba y sobre una escala más amplia de viscosidadesde fluido.
