Abstract

El compuesto absorbente (32) incluye una capa de hoja inferior esencialmente impermeable al líquido (30), una capade hoja superioresencialmen te permeable al líquido (28), y una parte de retencion (48) intercalada entre las capas de hoja inferior y de hoja superior. Laparte de retencion (48) tiene los bordes de lado terminales lateralmente opuestos (49), y el compuestoabsorbente (32) incl uye un par de márgenes de ladolateralmente opuestos (80) los cuales se extienden lateralmente más allá de los bordes laterales (49) de la parte de retencion (48). Un primer panel de cuerpo(52) está unido al primer extremolongitudinal (78) del compue sto absorbente (32). El primer panel de cuerpo (52) tiene una superficie lateral de cuerpo (54),una superficie exterior (56), una longitud de panel (58) la cual es menor que la longitud de artículo (26), un borde deextremo terminal exterior (60), y unborde de extremo terminal relativamente interior (62). Cada uno de los márgenes laterales (80) del compuesto absorbente (32) está dado vuelta hacia adentropara proporcionar una superficie de lado al cuerpo dadavuelta (100) y una superficie lateral dada vuelta hacia afuera (102) de cada margen lateral (80).
